We are honoured that Yogo and Kezia had trusted us to document their love story for them. Among picturesque streets lined with beautiful autumn trees, open grass meadows and a forest that envelops you with curiosity, to a humble little apartment deep within the city, we took their photographs and watched them have the time of their lives.
The two first met when they were both working at the Indonesian restaurant many in Melbourne are familiar with, called Garamerica. Through shared shifts and busy working days together, they got closer and, two weeks later, began dating. Their first date was a dinner in China Bar, which was where they shared their first lengthy conversations.
Yogo’s first impression of Kezia, he described, was cool, smart, humble, and kind. There are plenty of things about Kezia, too, that still tickles his heart. “Whenever she’s leaving the house for a short trip,” he says, “she’d tell me I’m not bringing anything, so it’s kind of leaving the responsibility to me if something happens.”
Kezia has been there for Yogo, as he coped through all his difficult times and faced all his difficult decisions. Their love has remained intact and furthermore, a union between two souls, and two families, have been created.
Glimpses of their lovely, scenic daylight wedding in the Yarra Valley are now up on our site. Head over to our other gallery, witness it for yourself, and read a bit about how it went!
